I am pursuing a master’s degree in environmental reporting with concentrated studies in conservation biology at the University of Missouri—School of Journalism. I am continuing my science journalism education following completion of my Bachelor of Journalism with an emphasis in science journalism.

I am covering the 2018 AAAS Conference from Austin, Texas, with Science, Health and Environmental Journalism @ Mizzou (SHEJ). SHEJ received funding from ORG, which allowed me to attend the conference and further my experience in science writing. SHEJ is just one example of all the wonderful opportunities that I’ve had at Mizzou, which makes my last semester at Mizzou bittersweet.
