Jing Ren

Jing Ren is currently a second semester master’s student studying Investigative Reporting in Missouri School of Journalism, she will graduate in Fall 2018. Originally from China, she is determined to use in-depth journalism as a tool to serve the public. She is especially interested in science, health and environmental reporting, and she believes there are numbers stories that can be discovered in an investigative perspective within such areas.

She has interned for different news organizations back in China, covering both investigative and international stories. Locally she has worked for the Columbia Missourian as an enterprise reporter. She is prepared to combine her mapping skills with SHE reporting, and excited to be a SHE reporter.
