Meghan Eldridge

MeghanMeghan is a senior at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. She studies journalism and environmental science, and is passionate about science communication and investigative stories about public health and the environment.

Her inspiration for pursuing a career in journalism is influenced most dominantly by a desire to unearth truth in the world, particularly in areas that often go uncovered by mainstream news sources. Meghan’s passion for storytelling is one that grows more each day as she continues her education by voraciously reading and writing.

When Meghan isn’t pursuing a story, she enjoys being outside hiking and swinging in a hammock, cooking and grocery shopping, mentoring a group of high school girls at her church and spending time with her fiance, friends and family.
